Ultra Naté, born March 20, 1968, in Havre de Grace, Maryland, is a highly accomplished American singer, songwriter, DJ, and label owner who has made a significant contribution to the dance and electronic music scenes. ⁠

In the early stages of her career, Ultra Naté, recognised for her distinctive voice, blending soulful tones with infectious energy, gained recognition with her house record releases - her breakthrough single "It's Over Now" was in 1990. She gained international recognition with hits like "Free" and "If You Could Read My Mind," showcasing her versatility as an artist.⁠

Today, she continues to release music, DJ and support LGBTQIA rights. Her latest album Ultra Deluxe contains the recent single “UNBREAKABLE”, a love letter to the LGBTQIA community.⁠

And the launch of the interview coincides with the release of her reimagined 90's track "Party Girl" with KIMMIC, the original from the classic "Party Girl" movie with Parker Posey. ⁠

Ultra Naté is also a world renowned DJ, and has her own record label - BluFire⁠
