Dr. Donna Volpitta, CEO - Pathways to Empower - The Resilient Mindset Model

Donna draws on her experiences as a seasoned educator and mother of four adolescents to bring humor and practical advice to all of her audiences. So many speakers are inspirational, but Donna combines inspiration with education, providing participants with strategies that they can use right away. Her use of adorable characters, concrete examples, and easy-to-understand metaphors takes complicated material and makes it very simple to understand and apply.

Dr. Volpitta holds Advisory Board positions for One Revolution Foundation and Kids Helping Kids, both of which develop resilience in youth. She is an expert for Understood.org and Modern Mom and has given presentations at numerous professional conferences.

Dr. Volpitta is a former classroom teacher with experience in both general and special education. She holds a doctoral degree in Learning Dis/Abilities from Teachers College, Columbia University.
