Episode 9 - Student Experience - Vhonani Maboga

On this show, we speak to Vhonani Maboga about his experience studying Clinical Psychology at the University of Limpopo. Not only will we discuss Vhonani's subjective experience but we will also discuss his experience as a mentor in the Cognition & Co Masters Mentorship Network. Vhonani is a second-year MA Clinical Psychology student at the University of Limpopo and a Mentor at the Cognition & Co. He holds a BA degree (Sociology and Psychology) and a BA (Hons) degree in Psychology. Both these degrees were obtained from the Nelson Mandela University. Vhonani’s interests lie in gender-based violence, psychological assessments and personality disorders. Vhonani has co-authored a chapter in a book by Prof Ngcobo-Sithole titled Are we moving in the right direction?. The chapter examines the silence around the abuse of males.
