The Two Gay Geeks đŸłïžâ€đŸŒˆ have a chat with Nick Benson, Effects Designer for many films as well as theme creation for various businesses. Nick tells us how he got into the business and what he is doing now. We also have a short chat about what brought him to Phoenix this weekend. Have a listen, and we hope you enjoy this as much as we did. About Nick Benson FX master, Nick Benson has provided his special effects magic on a collection of horror films that include, Tremors, The Blob, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master, and Bride of Re-Animator. About Mulligan's Manor ☀☀☀ Mulligan’s Manor is a loving and supportive group home dedicated to at-risk gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, and heterosexual adolescents ranging from 12 to 17 years old. We are a family-oriented, LGBTQA (Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual, Transgender, Questioning, and Ally) community that nurtures and empowers our youth to reach their full potential, as well as provide tools for a safe and healthy life. A "Mulligan" is known by golfers as a second chance, or a "do-over". Our mission is to give every member of our family the second chance to experience the love and respect he deserves. There are approximately 15,000 youth in the Child Protective Services system in Maricopa County, which means that in all likelihood there are hundreds of LGBTQ children in need of respectful housing. Mulligan's Manor Link ❀❀❀❀ In our second segment, we chat briefly about (spoiler free) The Menu and Glass Onion. We also highlight recent articles posted to tggeeks.com in the past week. As always, we have our birthdays, and we have the ever-popular feedback segment. We welcome your feedback. Please, let us know what you think. Good or bad, we want to know, and you could receive a shoutout in the feedback segment. Thank you for listening, we really do appreciate you taking time out of your day to spend with us.
