On a trip to China a few years ago, I had a lot of interesting things to eat over that month. Some of it was wonderful, some of it was terrible. But I ate what was good, and left what was bad. As we go through life and learn from other people, we need to be careful about nullifying someone’s entire body of work over one thing they say that we don’t agree with. We need to not be small-minded. We learn from the easy things as well as from the hard things.
