Looking back, he says ALL of this was absolutely necessary for him to alchemize his pain into light. As the days grew harder and 3D world problems like money & housing came in...he was urged to "trust just one more day." He also shares infinite wisdom about what the journey of acknowledging your light and no longer deciding to repress it anymore feels like. He likens this to "stepping out of the spiritual closet" and no longer having an "affair" with your light and your purpose.
