13: Handling Holiday Stress - Nobody Is Entitled to Your Time

I have had a history of stressing and over-extending myself during the holidays because I didn't know it was ok to make my own decisions and say no to certain things. My husband and I have started intentionally planning more downtime at home with our kids. We're no longer accepting guilt trips and feeling the pressure to be everywhere and do everything. Allowing yourself to get over-stressed and exhausted to keep someone else happy is not healthy and it's not ok. As a grown adult, you can decide what's best for you and your family! Here's to a happier, peaceful, more refreshing holiday season. ❤️
