Communicating Relationship Dynamics

"I am interested in finding out how one navigates themselves in the lifestyle, when the dynamic of their relationships changes but they still want to be in the lifestyle.

I am a "single bi cis gender female." When going to LS parties/events, there are times when I am accompanied by a straight, cis gender male, and there are times when I am solo. He accompanies me and is familiar with the lifestyle. He has the same interests and passions as I do.

So my question is, What should I do when I am meeting others in the LS?

Do people have concerns or are they uncomfortable about individuals like myself that have a male partner who isn't always with me? Do you see there being an issue for people to enjoy me solo, and maybe sometimes having my partner join us?
